Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing archetypehair.com or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us Archetype is a haircare brand based in Brussels, Belgium. You can contact us at hello@archetypehair.com for any questions related to your order or these terms.
2. Products All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may slightly differ from the actual product. We make every effort to display colours and textures as accurately as possible.
3. Placing an Order By placing an order on our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when your order is dispatched.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability. If your order is cancelled, you will be fully refunded.
4. Pricing All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment.
5. Discounts & Promotional Codes Promotional codes are valid only for the specific products or periods stated. Only one promotional code may be applied per order. Codes cannot be combined with other offers, exchanged for cash, or applied to previous orders. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify promotions at any time.
6. Payment Payment is processed securely through Shopify. We accept major credit and debit cards. Full payment is required before your order is dispatched. We do not store your payment details.
7. Shipping & Delivery We ship within the European Union. Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if anything is missing or damaged.
8. Returns & Refunds Our return policy is outlined in full on our Shipping & Returns page. In summary, we accept returns of unopened, unused products within 14 days of receipt. Opened cosmetic products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, as permitted under EU law.
9. EU Consumer Rights As an EU-based consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, except where products have been unsealed and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. 10. Intellectual Property All content on archetypehair.com, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Archetype and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archetype shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.
12. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
13. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.
